Asked often

Questions before you start

How do I get a quote?

Press Get a quote and make an account with your name, phone number, email and postcode. Then answer a few plain questions by choosing from a list. You can pick a day for us to come round, or skip that if you have no date in mind. We answer in your account and by phone.

Why do you look at the walls before giving a price?

Because the preparation decides the time. A sound, clean, dry wall is quick to paint; peeling paint, damp marks, cracks or old wallpaper are not. We check fifteen points on every surface, so the price is for the work the wall actually needs.

What are the three finish options?

Every quote shows three options: Essential, Professional and Premium. The work is the same; the difference is the grade of paint. You choose the one that suits the room and the budget.

Do you repair cracks and holes before painting?

Yes. Small marks are filled and sanded as part of the preparation. Larger repairs, such as failed plasterboard joints, holes in board or loose plaster, are listed in the quote as their own lines.

Can you paint over damp or mould?

Not until the cause is fixed and the wall is dry. Paint is not a cure for damp. Once the surface is dry, the stain is treated and the wall is finished properly.

Can you work while we are living in the house?

Yes. Furniture is moved and covered, floors are protected and each room is tidied at the end of the day.

Which areas do you cover?

Glasgow, Paisley, Johnstone, Dumbarton, Clydebank and the places in between.

Can I change my mind about the quote?

Yes. From your account you can accept one of the options, say no thank you, or write to us and ask for something to be changed.
